Purim Celebration!
This week was short but full of fun and excitement as we continued exploring Purim together. On Monday, we enjoyed a very special carnival. Purim Play
We’ve been enjoying all things Purim this week! We had so much fun dressing up in costumes, filling hamantashen, and learning about the four mitzvot of Purim: giving Tzedakah, hearing the Megillah twice, eating a festive meal, and giving gift baskets to our friends. Tu B’Shvat in Bloom
We had a fantastic week celebrating Tu B’Shvat and all the beautiful things found in nature. On Monday, we enjoyed our Tu B’Shvat Farmers Market. Roots, Branches, and Blessings
Tu B’Shevat higiya, chag la’ilanot! It is time to celebrate the birthday of the trees. This week, we enjoyed exploring all things trees, flowers, and nature. We used small parts to create trees with trunks and branches, and we decorated real branches with beads and buttons. We also conducted a fun science experiment, turning white flowers into colorful flowers using food coloring. Camels & Cocoa
This week we learned all about Avraham and Sara’s son, Yitzchak. It was so special to learn about how he found a wife. Eliezer, Avraham’s friend, went to the local well and met the kindest girl there, Rivka. She even gave water to all of his thirsty camels! Welcome To Our Tent
We have been busy learning all about Avraham and Sara this week! We learned that Avraham was sent on a journey, and he didn’t have cars, airplanes, buses, or boats to travel with. Festival of Light
We are ready for Chanukah! We learned the story of the mean King Antiochus, who told the Jewish people they couldn’t be Jewish. We learned how the brave Maccabees fought back and never gave up their faith. We also learned about the miracles, including finding a small amount of oil to light the Menorah in the Beit Hamikdash and how the small Maccabee army defeated the huge Greek army. Spinning Into Chanukah
Chanukah oh Chanukah, come light the menorah! We have been busy enjoying all things Chanukah. We have been spinning dreidels, counting candles, and learning all about the amazing miracles Hashem made for us. Tiny Turkeys & Early Lights
We’ve had a wonderfully busy short Thanksgiving week! We investigated the inside of pumpkins and used mallets to hammer in golf tees. We scooped fall items and created colorful fall “soup.” We practiced fine-motor skills by using nail clippers to cut pasta pieces. We became mini scientists and explored color mixing. We reviewed our letters A–G and our Hebrew letters Alef–Zayin. We also began learning about Chanukah and used popsicle sticks to count the candles on the menorah.

Noah's Ark
What a wonderful week learning all about Noah and the Teiva (Noah’s Ark)! We learned that Noah built the Ark to bring all the animals safely inside. Our Journey Through Creation
This week, we enjoyed focusing on all things Creation ! We finished learning about Days 4, 5, and 6. On Day 4, Hashem made the sun, moon, and stars.
