Thank you to all the dads who took the time on Friday morning to visit your child’s classroom!

We loved having the opportunity to celebrate you and all that you do. Decorating frames, completing puzzles, and celebrating Shabbat together made the morning meaningful and beautiful.
This week was all about families! In honor of Dad’s Doughnuts, we enjoyed everything doughnut-related. The children had a blast in our dramatic play doughnut shop, practicing pouring coffee and engaging in imaginative play.
We also explored doughnut art inspired by the creative pop artist Andy Warhol, using the doughnut shape to create spin art with CDs.
With Presidents Day coming up on Monday, we discussed what a president does and what it means to be a leader. We also looked at money and practiced our pincer grasp by using clothespins to hang coins.
Our science activity this week involved experimenting with watercolors on our light table, sparking curiosity and creativity.
Our letters of the week were the letter O and the Hebrew letter Samach. Using the O shape, the children made people, creating faces and decorating them with ribbons, buttons, and gems. For Samach, we had fun covering a giant letter with colorful circle stickers.
It’s been such a wonderful week! Enjoy your day off on Monday, and we look forward to learning all about Purim next week.
