This week, we enjoyed focusing on all things Creation! We finished learning about Days 4, 5, and 6.

On Day 4, Hashem made the sun, moon, and stars. We sewed bright yellow suns and loved playing with our black galaxy Play-Doh filled with tiny stars.
On Day 5, Hashem created all the fish and birds. We made bird nests and added colorful scales to our fish.
On Day 6, all the animals were created. We practiced sorting them into their habitats with fish in the ocean using blue watercolor, birds in the sky using shaving cream, and animals on the land using sand. We are so grateful to Hashem for creating the whole world!
We painted with blue and green to create our very own Earths and learned that after six days of creation, Hashem rested, which is why we have Shabbat. We loved reviewing Shabbat by playing with our Shabbat sensory boxes.
This week, we also practiced our math skills by counting loose parts with Play-Doh.
Our letters of the week were D and the Hebrew letter Daled Drill. We played the game Doggie, Doggie and reviewed our letters A through D. For our Daled Drill project, we used a real electric drill with a paintbrush attached to create fun paint patterns.
We also learned about a new artist, Georgia O’Keeffe, and explored a new technique using our spinning wheel to create beautiful earth-colored swirls.
We had so much fun this week in Yoga with Ms. Ace, Music with Morah Robin, and Animaly with Morah Nadav.
We ended our wonderful week with challah baking and our school-wide Shabbat party.
Shabbat Shalom!
