What a wonderful week learning all about Noah and the Teiva (Noah’s Ark)!

We learned that Noah built the Ark to bring all the animals safely inside. The children had so much fun playing with toy animals on the Ark, listening to the sounds each animal makes, and matching them to their pictures. We also experimented to see which toys could sink or float, just like Noah might have wondered about his Ark.

The children practiced folding and packing their clothes to get ready for their “trip” on the Ark, and they loved exploring blue squishy bags filled with animals.

We learned that Hashem made a rainbow as a special promise, and we created our own beautiful rainbow art using oil and water.

In our literacy centers, we sat in rowboats and fished for letters, and used magnifiers to search for our letter of the week, E. In Hebrew, our letter of the week was Hay (House).

We also explored art by creating stunning floral designs inspired by the artist Georgia O’Keeffe.

We enjoyed music with Morah Robyn, Yoga with Ms. Ace, and Playball with Coach Anthony.

Our week ended on a joyful note with challah baking and a school-wide Shabbat party, the perfect way to celebrate a beautiful week of learning and fun!
