Purim Play

We’ve been enjoying all things Purim this week!

We had so much fun dressing up in costumes, filling hamantashen, and learning about the four mitzvot of Purim: giving Tzedakah, hearing the Megillah twice, eating a festive meal, and giving gift baskets to our friends.

We explored Tzedakah by rubbing colored pencils over coins and examining different coins up close.

Our creativity continued with hamantashen-inspired art, and we had an exciting science activity, making cupcake explosions using baking soda and vinegar.

We also reviewed all of our alphabet letters with a matching hunt around the room, and practiced our Alef Bet with a fun underwater letter hunt.

It was a wonderful, joy-filled week! We loved having Playball, making challah, and celebrating together at our schoolwide Shabbat Party.

We are excited and ready to celebrate Purim next Monday night!
