snow & stars

We are so glad to be back to regular scheduled programming after a beautiful, wet vacation!

We know you all had an amazing time because we heard all the amazing stories.
We jumped right into learning all about the first Jewish man, Avraham. We know Avraham taught everyone about G-d, even his own father. His name was changed from Avram to Avraham, incorporating Hashem's letter Hay. We know G-d promised Avraham he would have as many children as there are stars in the sky. We focused on all things in the solar system. We made solar system balloon art, counted stars in math, used our hand-eye coordination to rotate planets, and had fun making a glittery starry science experiment.
We created art inspired by Paul Klee to represent the different shapes of the planets and stars.
We loved playing with Avraham’s tent and invited guests, as Avraham taught us about Hachnasat Orchim.
We reviewed our letters in Hebrew Alef to Yud by practicing tracing and our Alphabet A-J review with magnets. We enjoyed making snowy slime with hair conditioner and corn starch.
We enjoyed Yoga with Ms. Ace, Playball with Coach Anthony, and Animaly with Morah Nadav.
We love ending our week with a grand Shabbat Party and challah baking!
