We had a fantastic week celebrating Tu B’Shvat and all the beautiful things found in nature.

On Monday, we enjoyed our Tu B’Shvat Farmers Market. Thank you so much to all of our wonderful parent volunteers for helping make it such a special experience. The children loved cycling through each station, creating projects, and tasting the different foods.
The children painted with tree branches, stamped with leaves, and ripped paper to create colorful orchards.
They explored color mixing to design vibrant fruit trees and chopped apples to bake delicious apple muffins together.
Our dramatic play area turned into a picnic in the orchard, and we learned about the life cycle of trees through hands-on activities and discussion.
Our letter of the week was N, and we created nests using pasta and shredded paper. We also used playdough and natural materials to form our Hebrew letter Nun.
Inspired by Claude Monet, the children experimented with colored pastels and watercolors to create their own beautiful nature scenes.
We enjoyed Yoga with Ms. Ace and Animaly, where we met a new animal friend.
We ended the week with challah baking and our schoolwide Shabbos party, which was a wonderful way to welcome Shabbos together. Shabbat Shalom!
