Class Information
NOOK
Kita Nook is a class designed for infants as young as 13 weeks to 24 months. Through stimulating learning centers, children have the opportunity to move purposefully and assert their independence. Our class is based on developmental learning through discovery and approach based on respect for each child as an individual, as well as on a sensitivity to each child's way of learning. Children learn, grow and acquire skills as they play. They increase their creativity and understanding at their own pace.
KITA ALEPH 1 & 2
Our Aleph class is designed for children 2 years old transitioning from the sensory-motor world of toddlers to an increasingly social world. They learn to communicate with their peers and practice teamwork. Our experienced and talented teachers use these centers and many enriching activities to foster learning and growth in a warm and nurturing environment. Activities are open ended and emphasize process over product.
KITA BET 1 & 2
Kita Bet is a place where children 3 years of age are challenged to learn while making friends, developing self- confidence, and self-direction. Changes to the learning environment, activities, and projects reflect the children’s emerging interests. Daily language experiences support literacy and language development. Mathematical reasoning and scientific thought is emphasized throughout the centers.
KITA GIMMEL.
Kita Gimmel is for children 4 years of age where they are challenged to learn while making friends, developing self- confidence, and self-direction.
These pre-math and pre-literacy skills are the building blocks for their future academic success in the years following their preschool experience.
Daily language experiences support literacy and language development. Mathematical reasoning and scientific thought is emphasized throughout the centers. KITA DALED
Kita Daled was created to prepare our 5 year old students for kindergarten or first grade through the use of developmental and academic activities. Each of our creative lessons teach the students unique skills relating to writing, reading, math, geography, science, and much more. Through the child’s natural curiosity, they learn to master the academic skills that have placed the majority of our graduates in gifted kindergarten and elementary school programs.
