Thankful Little Moments

We have been enjoying having all our families join us for our Grateful for Generations Thanksgiving Celebration.

Thank you for taking the time to be part of our singing, dancing, and feasting. It was so special to celebrate together.
This week, we focused on all things Shabbat. We created a Shabbat market in our dramatic play centers, complete with cash registers, play money, and all the items we needed: candles, grape juice, and challah.
The children loved making squishy Shabbat slime that looked just like grape juice, and they practiced pouring grape juice as well.
We explored fractions and counting using pie slices, and we created vibrant crayon artwork inspired by the artist Andy Warhol.
The children also enjoyed placing feathers on our turkey and exploring our Thanksgiving sensory box.
Our letter of the week was G, and we had so much fun learning how to golf. For our Hebrew letter, Zayin, we painted zebra stripes and practiced opening zippers.
We wrapped up the week with Playball and Animaly, where we met a new animal and learned all about him, and of course, our Shabbat party and challah baking to end a beautiful week of celebrations.
