We are so excited the fun has begun! We are so happy to be partnering with you to create the best school year here in BJP. We loved meeting you at our orientation and giving you a glimpse into our classroom homes. The children are settling into their new schedules and routines and we anticipate this being a bit of adjustment for the little ones with this month filled with so many holiday days off.
We jumped right into the holiday of Rosh Hashana! The Jewish New year is so early this year that we didn’t want to miss a shofar beat! We know this holiday is the most important in the Jewish calendar where we thank Hashem for the life he gives us and we promise to make this a year full of Mitzvot!
We hear the shofar blast to wake us up and remind us Hashem is here always watching over us and protecting us.
We eat apples and honey for a sweet new year and we eat pomegranates representing the 613 mitzvot in the Torah.
We hope you enjoy your honey dishes and drip trays and delicious honey cake and round challah. Wishing you a Shana Tova Umetuka! We look forward to seeing you after the holiday next Thursday for some Yom Kippur reflection and Sukkot fun!
