Noah's Ark
What a wonderful week we had learning about Noah and the Ark! We heard how Noah built a great big boat and how the rains poured down.

We talked about the beautiful rainbow Noah saw in the sky afterward, G-d's promise that He would never flood the earth again. We learned how the animals came two by two. We explored what it means to be a role model and to show kindness to animals. We also talked about how much G-d loves us, with the Ark as a reminder of G-d's hug and care. We got creative with painting blue for the floodwaters and bright rainbows for the sky.
We shaped the letter Gimel out of pipe cleaners to learn that "Gimel's a going guy," and we walked his feet around the circle to show that Gimel has legs in its shape. We also discovered the letter D.
In woodworking, we floated the creative wood structures we built.
We had so much fun playing with our life-size ark and tucking all the animals safely inside.
We also enjoyed yoga with Miss Ace, Animaly with Nadav, and playball with Coach Anthony.
We finished the week with a grand Shabbat party with the whole school and baked delicious challah.
