A World Made with Love
We had a wonderful week back at BJP! Our theme was Creation, and we picked up right where we left off last week.

We learned about Day Four, when G-d created the sun, moon, and stars, and explored the constellations and planets. This day was full of music, including “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and “Mr. Sun.”
Next came Day Five, the birds and the fish, and then Day Six, the animals, with plenty of music and movement along the way.
On Day Six, G-d also created us, with five senses to explore the world around us. We brought in objects from Creation to put our senses to work, like something sparkly for sight (just like the stars!) and rain sounds for hearing.
We also talked about Shabbat, the day G-d rested. G-d wants us to explore His world, but He loves and misses us, so one special day every week we rest from our work and spend time with Him. We made delicious cupcakes and decorated them with green and blue frosting to create a world.
In Hebrew, we focused on the letters Bet and Vet, and in English we learned the letter C.
We also learned about height and weight and had so much fun measuring our friends!
We started our new outdoor enrichment, where we explored woodworking and creating using natural materials.
We enjoyed music with Robyn and Playball with Coach Anthony.
We ended the week with our grand Shabbat party and challah baking.
Have a wonderful weekend and Shabbat Shalom!
