It was so exciting to be back after a long and joyous Sukkot holiday.
We jumped into learning about Creation and how Gd created the beautiful world we live in!
Bereashit Boro Elokim Es Hashomayim Ves Haoretz. In the beginning Gd created the heavens and the earth. We know it was created in 6 days and on the 7th day Hashem rested. We know this is why our week is 6 days of working and the 7th day we celebrate Shabbat, our day of rest. We learned all about Day 1 Light and Dark. We painted with black and white.
We looked at light that appeared through a dark box.
We made patterns with white and black also.
We spoke about Day 2 this week as well. Hashem separated the sky and the ocean. We painted blue sky and added clouds.
We made rain through our shaving cream clouds.
This week we loved Yoga!
We love playball with coach Anthony.
Animaly came and we met a special Cockroach from Madagascar!
We love celebrating Shabbat together with a school wide party and making our own challah rolls! Shabbat Shalom!
