Shana Tova, Happy & Sweet New Year

We would like to wish you all a wonderful happy, healthy and sweet new year!

Shana Tova U'metuka!

The sound of the Shofar goes toot toot toot! We explored shofars this week and we know the sounds the shofar makes. Tekiah, one loud sound, shevarim three medium sounds, and Teruah with 9 small sounds. We painted and decorated shofars this week to take home and enjoy on Rosh Hashana.

We continued to explore bees. We had sensory tables with black and yellow and know that is the bees colors and we sorted them using tweezers. We learned the life-cycle of the bee, counted the stripes on bees and dressed up as bees.

We picked and counted apples on our own apple tree.

We cut apples and dipped them in honey. It tasted so sweet!

We graphed apples.

We decorated and created Rosh Hashana cards and decorated our bags to take home the honey jars we created.

We wrote Shana Tova ourselves, in Hebrew and English.

We loved using baking soda and vinegar to celebrate the birthday of our world investigating through Science and we decorated crowns the celebrate as well!

We loved mixing and making honey cake too!

Morah Robyn, our favorite music teacher is back and weloved dancing and playing instruments with her this week.

We would like to wish you all a wonderful happy, healthy and sweet new year! Thank you to our BJP PTA who created the most beautiful gifts for our staff.

Shana Tova U'metuka!
