Red, white, and blue can be seen all around our preschool as we’ve been learning about the United States of America!

We now know there are 50 states, we have a president who lives in the White House, and we remember voting day when we chose between two candidates. We also learned that important presidents have their faces on our money. We drew pictures and discussed what we would do if we were president.
We examined different coins and even tried cleaning them with vinegar!
We did coin rubbings, used playdough and slime to make coin stamps.
We created Presidential portraits inspired by the artist Gutzon Borglum.
We also explored how money is made and had fun designing our own!
Our farmers market dramatic play continued, and we created beautiful Claude Monet watercolors.
We learned about the Hebrew letter Samech and our letter of the week, P.
In music with Morah Benny, we discovered the musical note scale. We enjoyed Yoga with Ms. Ace and met a new animal in Animaly!
As always, we loved coming together on Friday for our Shabbos party and our weekly challah bake.
