We had a wonderfully busy week diving into all things floral as we prepared for the upcoming holiday of Shavuot!

We were fascinated watching flowers bloom during our colorful science experiment, and we explored flower shapes by creating art using a variety of materials.

We practiced counting petals on flowers all the way up to 20 and made our own floral arrangements, filling vases with dried and real flowers, along with sparkling gems, to create beautiful centerpieces.

The fun continued as we dug into dirt and played in a mini flower garden, and we channeled our inner artists by painting tulips in the style of Henry Matisse.

We also made “cupcake mountains” and decorated them with flowers for Shavuot!

For our letter review, we used alphabet trains, chugging along in ABC order as we traveled through mountain tunnels. In Hebrew, we made “Aleph Bet soup” to review all the letters in a fun and interactive way.

This week, we also enjoyed music time with Benny and Animaly, where we met a new animal and learned all about its habitat and lifestyle.

As always, we ended the week with joy, baking challah and celebrating our grand Shabbat party together.
