Let My People Go!

We have been busy this week getting ready for Pesach. We talked so much about the upcoming holiday and how we celebrate it. We spoke about how Pharoh was so mean to the Jews. Moshe kept saying "let my people go!"and Hashem sent 10 plagues when Pharoh didn't listen. We learned about all the miracles Hashem did and how He took us out of slavery.

We know on Pesach we eat Matzah to remember the time when the Jewish people were leaving Mitzrayim and didn’t have time to bake bread, they mixed flour and water and it turned into Matzah instead.

We learned we need to clean our houses and make sure there's no more chametz (bread) around.

We made our Seder plates this week and our Kiddush cups.

We collaborated and splatter painted for our afikomen bags and we splatter plainted our kiddish cups.

We worked on our Haggadah this week. We made kiddush cups for Kadesh.

We worked on making matzah sandwiches for Korech.

We painted water and washing cups for Rachtzah.

We painted music notes for Hallel.

We are so excited to welcome you into our classrooms next week when we can celebrate the Model Seder together and we look forward to seeing you all at our Matzah Bakery on Sunday!

Shabbat Shalom!
