We are so excited to start 2022 with a lot of energy and fun! We hope you all had a wonderful vacation and are ready to enjoy the second half of BJP.
This week we focused on our forefathers and foremothers.
We know Avraham sent Eliezer to look for a wife for Yitzchak. Eliezer saw a kind girl bringing her camels to the wells so beautifully. She was careful to feed them and give them enough water and Eliezer knew she would be the perfect wife for Yitzchak.
We loved playing with camels in our classrooms and we gave them water too.
We discussed how in the times of our great leaders things were very different.
They lived in the desert, made tents for shelter, and had no supermarkets or running water.
We also learned about the beautiful jewelry Rivkah received when she married Yitzchok and made our own jewelry.
We learned Rivkah and Yitzchak had 2 babies, twins! We discussed similarities and differences and had fun looking in the mirror and seeing and drawing ourselves, noticing our own similarities and differences!
We made delicious lentil soup and discussed the famous story about Yacov and Eisav and the birthright.
We are also loving our new balance board. Everyone is having so much fun on it!
Wishing everyone a beautiful and peaceful Shabbat!
Shabbat Shalom!
