What a beautiful week we had celebrating Thankful for our Generations Day! We loved being able to welcome you to our school family to enjoy your children with songs. We loved making crowns, shakers, and the thankful cards and trays. We know you’ll enjoy them as much as we did painting them.
We jumped into learning about Chanukah too! We began squishing clay to make a beautiful menorah!
We have been reading stories and singing new Chanukah songs. We spoke about the Chanukah miracles. We know how brave the Maccabees were and we learned how we can be brave by doing good deeds and standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard! We have been spinning dreidels and know what the letters stand for. NES Gadol Haya Sham! A great big miracle happened there!
We worked on the Hebrew letter Violin stick Vav. We loved listening to the violin music and even tried to play ourselves on a real violin.
We had a great time making challah and celebrating Shabbat Party together. We also made some delicious pumpkin muffins this week!
We look forward to celebrating Chanukah together after we return from Thanksgiving break. We hope you have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to hearing all about the turkey eating and family fun when we return.
