From Generation to Generation: A Thanksgiving Filled with Gratitude

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

We are so grateful to our BJP families for joining us in a memorable Thanksgiving celebration!

Taking a morning to connect, create, and celebrate with you is always a joy.

This week, we immersed ourselves in all things fall:

Dancing Corn Experiment: The children were fascinated as we made corn "dance" during a fun science experiment.

Pumpkin Investigations: We explored the insides of pumpkins, counted their seeds, and even created playful play-doh vines to decorate them.

Creative Play-Doh Fun: The little ones shaped turkeys with feathers and googly eyes, bringing their imaginations to life.

Picasso-Inspired Art: Learning about Pablo Picasso sparked creativity as we crafted interesting faces with small parts.

Self-Expression Experience: We created abstract collage self-portraits using half our face as inspiration.

Thanksgiving Bakeshop: Our bakeshop setup has been a hit, and the children loved baking pumpkin muffins for families to enjoy.

We also embraced literacy and language with the letters of the week—Ff and the Hebrew letter Vav.

We stayed active with Tae Kwon Do sessions led by Coach Anthony.

Animaly brought a turkey in honor of Thanksgiving. It was so exciting to see a live turkey after learning much about them and singing turkey songs.

Our week wrapped up with the warmth of challah and a grand Shabbat Party—a beautiful way to celebrate togetherness.
