This week our classrooms were filled with the sweetness of Rosh Hashanah!

The children learned that Rosh Hashanah is the birthday of the world. We decorated a birthday cake for the world, baked honey cake, explored the shofar, and made special Rosh Hashanah projects.

We had lots of hands-on learning too, from graphing and tasting apples to exploring pomegranates and their tiny, jewel-like seeds.

We also started our Aleph Bet with Aleph and our ABCs with A, tying it all into Rosh Hashanah with apple-themed activities.

We were so excited to have yoga with Ms. Ace for the first time in our new space!

Friday was our Grand Shabbat Party with Rosh Hashanah songs and challah baking.

We also enjoyed our big new yard during Playball with Coach Anthony and met a bunny during Animaly with Nadav!

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and sweet new year. Shabbat Shalom and Shanah Tovah!
