We have had the best week getting ready for Purim and celebrating it in school!
We had a blast face painting and face painting on our friends!
We loved getting a visit from the ponies and getting a ride through our school palace just like Mordechai did in Shushan town long ago.
We know the story, know the 4 mitzvot of Purim, giving Tzedeka, hearing the Megillah, giving gift baskets (Mishloach Manot), and eating a Seudah meal. We filled our Mishloach Manot baskets with treats and our special projects.
We have our graggers ready to shake when we hear Hamans name during the Megillah reading.
We have our Shushan town puppet theatre with our puppets where we can retell the story and sing the Purim songs. We have the story of the Megillah that is in our own words to retell the story as we learned it.
