Buzzing from Orchard to Hives

We have been busy as bees this week getting ready for Rosh Hashana.

We used Apples to paint, apples to taste, and apples to graph our favorites this week. We even practiced pouring apple juice.

We used apples and made volcanoes too! We talked about how apples grow in an orchard and did apple picking.

We know the bees make the honey and it is sweet and sticky. We played with bee puppets, sorted little bumble bees and even dressed up in bee costumes.

We used pipettes and enjoyed moving honey in the hive.

We wrapped bees with yellow and black yarn, we made bees out of play doh and know that bees start with the letter Bb!

Our letter for the week is Bb and Hebrew letter is Bet.

We spoke about the artist Vincent Van Gough. We painted still life drawings of his famous painting ‘Sunflowers’.

Animaly this week was amazing with meeting a fluffly bunny!

We always love finishing our week with our big Shabbat party and challah bake.
