Our beautiful auction on Monday night was a wonderful success, with such a lovely turnout of parents who enjoyed getting a glimpse of our new preschool building while participating in bidding on artwork and furnishings to help bring it to life. Thank you for your support.

We’ve had a great week getting ready for the Shavuot holiday. We had the opportunity to “milk a cow” and make real butter!

We practiced math and played with wedges of cheesecake to learn fractions. We know Shavuot is the holiday on which G-d gave us the 10 Commandments on Mt Sinai.  We were so excited to learn them and write with ink and a quill.

This Friday,  go to synagogue to hear the 10 commandments. You can participate in this awesome moment and enjoy an ice cream party! We used colored rock salt to scoop into ice cream cones this week, too.

We enjoyed making bubbles from soap and water and blowing them with a straw.

We painted with a balloon and made artwork inspired by Eric Carle.

We watched the butterflies come out of their cocoons and released them.

We created art from string and watched how it was the same when we folded the paper.

We used our muscles and practiced screwing and unscrewing jars.

Wishing you and your family a joyful Shavuot, and a safe, relaxing Memorial Day weekend as we honor and remember.
