It’s that time of year again when the world shows gratitude and says thank you for what we have.
We know here at BJP we do that every single day! Every morning we wake up and the first thing we do is sing Modeh Ani and thank Hashem for giving us everything we have!
We are busy preparing for our Grateful for Generations celebration! We have been creating fall inspired projects. We used corn and pinecones to paint and create beautiful patterns with our fall colors.
We love watching the leaves change colors during fall! We created sensory bags and turned them into fall colors just like the leaves on the trees.
We made our own salt dough with flour, salt and water. We had to add the flour very slowly and carefully so our dough would be nice and soft.
Once we made our dough we started squishing, measuring and creating an original hand sculpted work to hang in our homes.
We are speaking about all the beautiful things Hashem created and discussing all that we’re thankful for.
We have been reading books and learning new songs about the story of Thanksgiving. We look forward to sharing it at our celebration.
This week we got to wish Eitan a very special Happy Birthday!
We missed all the children so much during our Staff in Service day but all of the Morahs had a wonderful opportunity to learn about the "Art of Communication".
We also took time to discuss the process of reflective teaching and collaborated ways to make sure all of our lessons are intentional.
