CGI Week one!

It’s so exciting to be back at Camp Gan Israel! We kicked off the summer with a week full of fun, laughter, and sunshine.

 Mini Izzy had a blast with water play almost every day. On Tuesday, we had a super fun waterslide and enjoyed waterplay throughout the week!

We designed our own jewelry by beading bracelets.

On Wednesday, we had Crazy Hair Day and baked yummy cupcakes.

On Thursday, we got creative with salt painting during our sensory specialty.

We ended the week with a big Shabbat party where we sang and danced to our favorite Shabbat songs, baked challah, made banana splits, and played Playball with Coach Anthony. 

CGI Division had an amazing start, too. We loved getting to know our counselors and new friends in each bunk.

On Tuesday, we went to Craft Bar and made our very own slime.

Wednesday was a pool day at Verdugo Aquatic Center, and we also had fun baking cupcakes and celebrating Crazy Hair Day. We created salt art and added depth using watercolor paint syringes.

Thursday was full of energy with a trip to Off the Wall Trampoline Park and Arcade.

We wrapped up the week with our Shabbat party, banana splits, Playball at the park with Coach Anthony, and swimming.

What a great first week. We can’t wait for more fun next week! Shabbat Shalom!
