Counting Our Blessings.

This was a pretty short week as we are all going to be celebrating Thanksgiving with our families and counting our blessings together. We began learning about Chanukah, our next upcoming Holiday.

We spoke about how the Jewish people all over the world came to the Beit Hamikdash, the Holy Temple in Israel, to pray. We know this is the most special place in the world.

We took a look at our Beit Hamikdosh replica and colored in a huge Beit Hamikdash. We know in Israel we can still daven by the Kotel, the last remaining wall of the Beit Hamikdash, today.

We painted wooden dreidels this week!

We began making our menorahs. We used clay and pushed in fire glass and candle holders to create these beautiful masterpieces. We are sure they will light up your Chanukah nights.

We splatter-painted gold, inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock, outside on a big canvas for our Chanukah backdrop.

We counted Chanukah candles!

We enjoyed Morah Robyn this week. We love singing with her and learning about the different musical scales and sounds the different instruments make.

We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday weekend filled with love, laughter and light!

Shabbat Shalom!
